Maintenance: Keep it serviceable by regularly inspecting the pressure and condition of the hose and cylinder.Be particularly weary about extinguishers kept outside, insects and weather can severely impact it’s effectiveness. Always report damage, changes in pressure & when you have used it.
Use on: A, B, C, D, E but NOT on F.
Recommendations: Use in conjunction with a fire blanket & working smoke alarm, especially if at home.
Carbon Dioxide(CO2)
Carbon Dioxide(CO2)Description: Red cylinder “Black band”.
Keep it serviceable by regularly inspecting the pressure and condition of the hose and cylinder. Report damage & changes in pressure. And bring it in when you have used it. Great extinguisher if you have plenty of electrical appliances or wiring on constant electrical load. It does however have limited effectiveness with Type A,B,C fires and does not work with Class F fire at all. It is also not suitable for use outside
